ALIENATED IN YOUR MIND
.........By Dr Ogaga O.David
Col.1:21. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.
Alienated=apallotriow apallotrioo, ap-al-lot-ree-o'-o = to estrange away, i.e. (passively and fig) to be non-participant:-- alienate, be alien
Mind=dianoia dianoia, dee-an'-oy-ah = deep thought, the faculty (mind or its disposition), by implic, its exercise:-- imagination, mind, understanding.
The conscious thought and desire . mentality.Mind is simply the faculty of reason.
Reprobate=miscreant, a person without moral scruples, depraved, immoral, perverse, perverted..marked by immorality; deviating from what is considered right, proper or good.
Rom 10: 6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word (RHEMA) of faith, which we preach;
= kardia, kar-dee'-ah = kar (Latin cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (fig) the thoughts or feelings (mind);
Col. 2:9. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Complete=plhrow pleroo, play-ro'-o = to make replete, i.e. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (fig) to furnish
Col.2:6 As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him.
7 Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.
8 See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition (men's ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah).
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].
10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].
AMP
Eph.1: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, {his mighty power: Gr. the might of his power}
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Goals: 5 Reasons for Writing Them Down
by Anthony D. Carter
YOU determine what your goals are. Your goals guide your life. It is important that you write those goals down. Here are 5 reasons for writing your goals down:
1. MIV-Makes It Vivid - Your goals take on a life of their own when you write them down. The written word is more powerful than the thoughts which come and go throughout the day. When you write the goal down it become concrete and real to you. Before you write your goal down it is only an aspiration. It is a wish.
2. PCR-Provides Constant Reminders - Out of sight, out of mind is the saying that can apply to your goals when you do not write them down. With so many obligations pulling at us in a typical day it is difficult to keep our mind centered on our goals if we don’t see them often enough. In order to hit our goals we must be able to see them and think about them throughout the day so they don’t get lost in among our other responsibilities. Regularly reading your written goals gives you constant reminders during the day. As you keep those goals in front of you impress them upon your mind.
3. EP-Establish Priorities - Written goals help you prioritize your activities. You especially need this in the beginning. Before the habits have been developed you need to remind yourself of what you are trying to accomplish. Otherwise you will find yourself operating business as usual. I always use written goals to help me establish the order of my priorities for any given day when I first set my goals. Because I have them written down and I am looking at them constantly, the task associated with my goals rise to the top of my list of things to do.
4. KYF-Keeps Your Focus - When you write your goals down and read them regularly you begin to center your attention on their completion. As your focus on them becomes stronger your goals are kept at the forefront of your thoughts. Every time you read your goals you are giving your subconscious a clearer image of the target.
5. MIAH-Makes It A Have To Have - When you write your goals down you begin to put importance on them. Your goal moves from being something nice to have to being something that you must have. When your goal is written down and you can read it and think about throughout the day it begins to matter more to you. It becomes something that you think about constantly.

LESSONS FOR LIFE
God, with all the wisdom and power at His disposal, did not finish the work of creation in one day. Thus, He instituted the Law of Process – everything cannot be done in one day. In the same vein, excellence cannot be achieved in a flash; it is a journey, not a destination. Excellence is a commitment to consistent and continual improvement. In creating the world, God created light first. Illumination is synonymous with knowledge, knowledge enlightens the mind. Every person acts to the best of his/her knowledge per time. Imbibing an excellence culture starts with committing to learning a new thing every day.

Accurate Discernment of the times.
Accurate Discernment of the times..An Apostolic perspective
Posted by pstmaxwell
A time will come when people will not listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear. 4 People will refuse to listen to the truth and turn to myths. (2 Tim 4: 3-4 GOD’S WORD)
You’re going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food — catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. 4 They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. (2 Tim 4:3-4 MSG)
If we can discern the times, then we know what to do to birth that which God wants to do in this season. It is amazing what time we are in, ministries, fellowships and groups are multiplying everywhere and at the same time the fruit of sonship is diminishing.
Apostle Paul shares with Timothy what time we are in, a time when people will not listen to accurate teachings, where people follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear, people refuse to listen to the truth but turn to Myths.
It becomes imperative for us to understand this season and Judge ourselves and embrace Gods mind
What kind of teachings are you listening to? We must discern what we are been taught from the scriptures are we listening to accurate teachings? Is what we are been taught pointing us to Christ or Man, is it the gospel of the Kingdom and her advancement on the earth? Or an evacuation, fear based, torment filled gospel. Like the Message translation said we must develop a stomach for solid teaching and break away from spiritual junk food.
Whose desires? Are we following our desires Or the Lords? When we are young in Him, we do what we like but when we become matured sons, we only have one trade make we are LED BY HIS SPIRIT. And as we are led by His Spirit, delighting ourselves in Him, our His desires now become our Desire.
Surrounding ourselves with whom? Do we allow God to lead us to teachers he has set in place to teach us, or we surround ourselves with teachers whom we desire? I believe there are certain ministries and associations the Father would lead us to that becomes our “company” , in this season we must not just choose teachers, we must allow the Father to lead us to the stream where we would drink from.
Truth or Myths? What exactly are we listening to TRUTH or MYTHS, there are many traditions of men that are been taught as truth (commandments from God) they are just myths, the fact that a message has been long proclaimed in the body of Christ does not make it the TRUTH. If it is not TRUTH it is not Truth. We must not turn our backs on the truth and chase mirages. Check what you believe.
God’s Grace.

THE BREVITY OF LIFE
If We can understand the shortness of time, then we have insight into living a fulfilled life. we can come to a point and understand that life is donations and not duration. we can strive to live an impact-full life. thus we live full and die empty. we now refused to live an unlived life
